The campanula rapunculus is commonly known as the rapunzel flower, rampion bellflower, rampion, or rover bellflower. This beautiful flower is native to Central America, Europe and South Africa. This species tends to grow in grasslands, meadows, pasturelands and pine forests. The average height of the campanula rapunculus is 40–80 centimetres (16–31 in). This fairy tale flower is biannual, and will bloom in its second year. This flower is definitely worth waiting for. These beautiful purple flowers are great for decorations, and are even edible.!These flowers were often used as spinach! Although this flower sounds like the one from the movie, this flower looks nothing like the flower from the movie. The flower from the movie looks like this:

As you can see, the flower looks much different, but they have the same name. The Brothers Grimm did say that the flower from the movie was themed about the real flower, and the flowers do actually have quite a few things in common. 1st of all, the flower’s shape resembles the magical flower from the fairy tale. 2nd of all, these flowers are both edible. Last but not least, the two flowers both live in Europe. The biggest difference is the coloring. Although the fairy tale describes a golden flower, the flower does have a small amount of purple. This is the same shade of purple as the real life flower. Overall, the two flowers are very similar.

Mya says she thinks that the weak solution of sugar will freeze fastest and the best. She isn’s sure what sugar does to the water. She thinks it might have the opposite effect of salt which she knows melts ice.
